BOB’S BLEND for CRAB CAKES

In Maryland where I used Blue crab to make crab cakes, I would use OLD BAY seasoning. Here I find the Old Bay to be a little too salty for Dungeness crab, so I have a mix that I have tried to mimic the blend without the salt.


Ingredients:

1 TBLS celery seed

2 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp black pepper

2 TBLS paprika

2 tsp cumin

Method:

Blend and reserve in dry sealed container.
